Wildlife Landscape

Nikon D200 | Galapagos Islands

Wildlife Landscape combines elements of landscape and wildlife photography, with a stronger emphasis on the presence of wild animals within a natural setting.

To identify this genre, look for:

  • Wild animals clearly present within the frame
  • The environment still playing a significant role
  • A balance between subject and setting
  • A sense of observing nature as it is

Unlike Animal Landscape, the wildlife here is more intentionally presented as a subject, while still remaining part of the broader scene rather than isolated like a portrait.
